Why can’t I connect accounts on mobile?

The site is visually optimized for mobile, but we recommend connecting all accounts on desktop. You may be able to connect all of your accounts on mobile, but there are several combinations of Browser, OS, and Connection that don’t work. After all your connections are complete, your mobile browsing experience should be smooth.

How did my Email get connected?

If your MVHQ account doesn’t have an email connected, and then you connect Google/Discord, then the email associated with your Google/Discord account automatically connects to your MVHQ account as well.

Why is my Email automatically connected?

It prevents people from unintentionally creating multiple MVHQ accounts. For example, someone logs in with Google and doesn’t connect anything else. Later, they log in again but use Discord to log in because they forgot they logged in with Google the first time. If their Google and Discord share the same Email, then the Discord login will automatically log into the MVHQ account that already has the Google account connection and will connect their Discord to the same account.

Why is MVHQ asking for so many Twitter/X permissions?

MVHQ will only use these permissions when your press a button on the MVHQ Mission Platform. We won't silently perform Twitter actions on your behalf in unexpected ways. These permissions allow for the super smooth completion of Objectives without bouncing between different browser tabs and apps. This will be incredibly useful when we have dozens of concurrent Missions.

Which accounts can I connect?

There are currently six types of Connections: Google, Twitter, Discord, Steam, Email, and Wallet.

I can’t log in

Try logging in using a different method. If you changed your Discord username since the last time you logged in, you may not be able to log in using Discord. If you deleted all of your MVHQ account connections to Discord, Google, and your wallet, you can still log in via email. Whenever you connect Discord or Google to your MVHQ account, it automatically links the associated emails to your account. Use one of those emails to log in. You’ll receive a six-digit code over email to complete your login.

Change the wallet connected to my MVHQ account

You can only connect one wallet to your MVHQ Account. All progress is tied to your MVHQ account, not your wallet, so you won’t lose progress on Missions by switching wallets. Use these steps to change your wallet:

  1. Click the avatar in the upper right.

  2. Click Settings in the dropdown menu.

  3. Click Web3 Wallets on the left.

  4. Click the garbage can on wallet.

  5. Connect a new wallet.
