# Sagas

## What Are Sagas?

Sagas are MVHQ's version of seasons. At the beginning of each Saga you will receive the $HQ reward you earned from the previous Saga, based on the total number of Boosted Credits you earned during that Saga. Your [mvhq-credits](https://docs.mvhq.io/usdhq/mvhq-credits "mention") and [credit-boosters](https://docs.mvhq.io/usdhq/credit-boosters "mention")will then reset to start fresh for the following Saga. 

## Why Should I Join A Saga?

You should join the MVHQ Saga to increase your [mvhq-credits](https://docs.mvhq.io/usdhq/mvhq-credits "mention") & [credit-boosters](https://docs.mvhq.io/usdhq/credit-boosters "mention") to maximize your $HQ reward at the end of the Saga.

## How Do I Join A Saga?

To join the Saga you must complete your [saga-onboarding](https://docs.mvhq.io/usdhq/sagas/saga-onboarding "mention"). You can join the Saga at anytime throughout the journey.

## How Long Do Sagas Last?

Sagas will typically last  approximately 1 year.
