# Sagas

## What Are Sagas?

Sagas are MVHQ's version of seasons. At the beginning of each Saga you will receive the $HQ reward you earned from the previous Saga, based on the total number of Boosted Credits you earned during that Saga. Your [MVHQ Credits](/usdhq/mvhq-credits.md) and [Credit Boosters](/usdhq/credit-boosters.md)will then reset to start fresh for the following Saga.

## Why Should I Join A Saga?

You should join the MVHQ Saga to increase your [MVHQ Credits](/usdhq/mvhq-credits.md) & [Credit Boosters](/usdhq/credit-boosters.md) to maximize your $HQ reward at the end of the Saga.

## How Do I Join A Saga?

To join the Saga you must complete your [Saga Onboarding](/usdhq/sagas/saga-onboarding.md). You can join the Saga at anytime throughout the journey.

## How Long Do Sagas Last?

Sagas will typically last approximately 1 year.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.mvhq.io/usdhq/sagas.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
